We are seeking a dependable and organized Medical Administrator to join our healthcare team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the office by providing administrative assistance, delivering excellent patient service, and helping wherever needed to ensure the office runs efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes.
• Handle insurance verification and basic billing support as needed.
• Manage medical records while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, faxes, and emails.
• Assist with data entry, filing, scanning, and other clerical duties.
• Monitor and order office and medical supplies as needed.
• Support providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and professional office environment.
• Cross-train in various office functions and provide coverage where needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous administrative, medical office, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with computers and ability to learn new software systems.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to assist in all areas of the office.
