Safety Log Clerk

Location: Murray, KY
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Safety Log Clerk for a company in Murray, KY. This position plays a key role in supporting safety, accident reporting, and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate follow-up reviews of initial accident and incident reports.

• Receive, process, and enter accident/incident data into company systems.

• Report accident and incident information to auto liability insurance carriers as needed.

• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding accident claims and claim status updates.

• Prepare and distribute daily Accident/Incident and Maintenance Driver Evaluation reports.

• Communicate DOT and major accident information to company leadership.

• Process purchase orders related to in-house property damage and auto liability claims.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Answer incoming calls, assist co-workers, and direct calls to the appropriate departments.

• Perform general clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong typing and data entry skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to clearly communicate important information and instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications preferred.

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

• Previous clerical, administrative, or office experience is preferred but not required.
