Salary: $23/hr

Desired Skillset would include:

 

Technical & Administrative Skills

  • Accurate Data Entry with strong attention to detail and ability to maintain error-free records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, including Outlook,Word and Excel (basic spreadsheets, sorting, filtering, data entry)
  • General Office Equipment Operation, including faxing, scanning, printing,
  • Basic Troubleshooting for common office equipment issues (paper jams, scanner errors, etc.)

 

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Professional Written and Verbal Communication for interacting with staff, and external partners
  • Ability to Take Clear, Organized Meeting Notes and distribute summaries or action items
  • Ability to Prioritize and Redirect when interruptions occur or multiple requests come in at once

 

Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills

  • Task Prioritization and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Independent Problem-Solving, especially when handling unexpected issues or employee questions
  • Process Awareness, recognizing when to escalate issues to supervisors
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities during a busy office environment

 

Professionalism & Confidentiality

  • Strict Confidentiality when handling personnel files, sensitive documents, or internal communications
  • Discretion and Professional Judgment when exposed to HR-related information
  • Reliability and Punctuality

 

Daily Administrative Support

  • Greet visitors, employees, or vendors and direct them appropriately if necessary
  • Prepare documents, forms, and correspondence for internal use
  • Scan all product tickets, and support purchasing department as necessary for receiving of packing slips, etc.

 

Meeting & Scheduling Support

  • Prepare meeting materials (agendas, printouts, sign-in sheets)
  • Take meeting minutes and distribute summary to attendees
  • Track follow-up tasks or deadlines resulting from meetings

 

HR & Safety Support (as appropriate)

  • Assist with onboarding tasks such as preparing new-hire packets or collecting required documents
  • Update employee lists, directories, or training logs
  • Support HR with basic clerical tasks while maintaining confidentiality
  • Assist with safety investigations, documentation

 

Operational Support

  • Support internal communications by drafting announcements or posting updates
  • Help with small projects such as data clean-up, spreadsheet updates, or process documentation
  • Provide backup support to other administrative staff during busy periods

 

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Flexibility to take on additional tasks that arise during the leave coverage period
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes or systems as needed
