Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Worker needed in Rankin County for an Equipment company!

Job Summary:
A Shipping & Receiving Worker is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping materials and products. This position ensures that incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely while maintaining inventory records and warehouse organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments.
• Verify shipment contents against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse systems as needed.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Requires standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the workday.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
