Express Employment is hiring a General Labor/Groundskeeper in Wiggins, MS!

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and landscaping.

·         Operate lawn care equipment such as zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other power tools safely and effectively.

·         Maintain cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas, including picking up debris and trash.

·         Assist with planting, mulching, pruning, and basic landscaping tasks as needed.

·         Perform general labor duties including loading/unloading materials and assisting with site upkeep.

·         Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues or safety concerns.

·         Follow all safety procedures while operating tools and machinery.

·         Support team members with various maintenance and labor-related tasks.

·         Maintain organized storage of tools, equipment, and supplies.

·         Perform other duties as assigned to support grounds and facility maintenance.

Skills & Qualifications

·         Experience with grounds maintenance or general labor preferred.

·         Ability to safely operate equipment such as zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other landscaping tools.

·         Basic knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance practices.

·         Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors for extended periods.

·         Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

·         Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

·         Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

·         Basic understanding of equipment safety and routine maintenance.

·         Good communication skills and strong work ethic.
