Shop Laborer – Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Shop Laborer for a reputable local client. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity with competitive pay and strong benefits once hired on.

Pay

• Starting at $20/hour

Schedule

• Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and strip concrete forms
• Pour and finish concrete
• Read and work from blueprints
• Assist in production of precast products such as:
  • Septic tanks
  • Manholes
  • Burial vaults
• Bend rebar and tack weld cages for concrete forms
• Use basic hand tools and shop equipment

Qualifications

• Experience with rebar bending and/or welding preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Basic math skills
• Previous precast/concrete experience is a plus (not required)
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
• Team-oriented with good time management skills
• Interest in long-term employment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Work involves team lifting or use of equipment
• Comfort working in a shop/industrial environment

Additional Information

• Steel toe boots required (assistance program available if needed)
• Employer provides all required safety gear
• Forklift experience is a plus (training and certification provided onsite)
