Manufacturing Manager - St Gabriel - D190

Pay: $160,000–$190,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30/4:00 p.m.

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead the production of pressure vessels and heat exchangers in a fast-paced fabrication environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, driving project execution, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage manufacturing projects from order release through shipment to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop and monitor production schedules, project plans, and performance metrics.
• Lead daily production meetings and coordinate activities across departments.
• Resolve production issues, manage project changes, and support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, safety, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams while maintaining accountability and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of management experience in the manufacturing of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and related industry codes and standards.
• Proven leadership, project management, and team development experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Work Environment:

• Fabrication shop environment requiring the use of PPE and steel-toed boots.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial conditions.
• Overtime and weekends required as needed.
