Our client is seeking warehouse help as a picker/packer.

 

Job Summary
The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, labeling, and preparing industrial products such as valves, pumps, tanks, vaporizers, fittings, and related equipment for shipment. This role ensures orders are fulfilled safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from warehouse inventory using pick lists, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, specifications, and condition of products before packing.
• Pack valves, pumps, tanks, vaporizers, and related components using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Label packages and prepare shipping documentation, including packing slips and bills of lading.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment (if certified).
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Follow all company safety procedures when handling industrial equipment and materials.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or order fulfillment experience preferred.
