Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Screw Machine & Saw Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining screw machines and saw equipment to produce precision metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate screw machines and saw equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and meet specifications
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
Maintain accurate production records
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience operating screw machines and/or saws preferred
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Basic math and measuring skills
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Dependable with a strong work ethic

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday
Overtime as required
