Electrical Panel Builder – Reserve, LA - D186

 

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Builder to assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot industrial electrical control panels and related systems for marine and heavy industrial applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and related equipment from schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Install and connect electrical components, PLCs, relays, drives, terminal blocks, and instrumentation.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks using diagnostic equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and testing records.
  • Support commissioning, startup, field installation, and customer inspections as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical panel building, industrial electrical assembly, or control systems wiring.
  • Experience with PLCs, motor controls, instrumentation, MCCs, and low/medium voltage systems is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in industrial shop environments.
