Heavy Equipment Operator - D185

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to support safe and efficient facility operations. This role is responsible for operating cranes, forklifts, tele-handlers, and other heavy equipment; performing equipment inspections and basic maintenance; troubleshooting operational issues; and ensuring compliance with all safety standards. The Operator will move, position, and lift materials and equipment, complete required documentation, and work closely with team members to maintain productivity and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cranes, forklifts, tele-handlers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for malfunctioning equipment.
• Move, lift, and position machinery, materials, and large objects as required.
• Follow written, verbal, and signal instructions during equipment operation.
• Complete job tickets, service reports, and required documentation.
• Adhere to all company and customer site safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating cranes or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Applicable crane operation certifications and customer-required site certifications.
• Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
