Frame and Alignment Technician

Location: Mankato, MN Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime Available) Pay: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience 

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Frame and Alignment Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced shop environment. You’ll work independently or in a team of two to perform a wide range of mechanical and structural repairs on heavy-duty equipment and trailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Frame straightening and structural repair

• Electrical wiring and troubleshooting

• Wheel alignments on various equipment

• Suspension repair and component replacement

• Brake repair and adjustment

• Trailer straightening and framework repair

• Welding and grinding

• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain DOT Certification to perform DOT inspections

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience

• Ability to work independently or in teams of two

• Must provide own small hand tools (rent-to-own toolbox program available)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (heavier lifting supported by 2-man lift, forklift, or overhead crane)

• Comfortable with continuous physical activity: standing, squatting, bending, twisting, gripping, wrenching

• Steel-toe shoes and safety glasses required

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
