Lead Operations in a Fast-Paced Seafood Distribution Environment

A well-established Hawaii-based seafood distributor is seeking a Freezer Manager to oversee frozen inventory operations at its Honolulu facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, hands-on leader with warehouse, inventory, cold storage, or food distribution experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are essential.

The Freezer Manager plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and operational efficiency while maintaining food safety standards and proper inventory rotation.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily freezer operations and inventory control activities
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming frozen product shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper FIFO rotation
• Oversee order pulling, staging, and preparation for customer deliveries
• Ensure products are properly labeled, weighed, scanned, and tracked
• Monitor freezer organization, cleanliness, and food safety compliance
• Complete inventory reports, logs, and operational documentation
• Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures
• Operate and oversee the safe use of warehouse equipment, including electric lifts
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to maintain product flow

What We're Looking For

• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, cold storage, food distribution, or a related industry
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills
• Comfortable working with inventory systems, scanners, and computer software
• Ability to accurately track inventory and complete reports
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
• TB Clearance required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift, move, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work in a warehouse environment throughout the day
• Comfortable working in freezer conditions as low as -5°F
