Located in Conroe, TX

Salary: $17.00

Helper- $16.00-$17.50/HR DOE 

 

A local company in Conroe is searching for a mechanically inclined Helper. This is a temp-hire position in a fast-paced and non-climate-controlled environment. Interested candidates, please send updated resumes to: jobs.conroetx@expresspros.com 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Sharpen and repair ice skates and related equipment
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep on facility equipment
• Clean rubber mats, dashers, and surrounding areas using a pressure washer
• Load and unload materials — some items 100+ lbs (team lifts required)
• Perform consistent heavy lifting throughout the entire shift
• Work effectively in hot, non-air-conditioned warehouse conditions.
• Zip-tying
• Reorganizing
• Assembly
• Inventory

Skills & experience:

• Must be able to lift 100+ lbs with a team member
• Must be able to stand, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
• Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled facility
• Candidates must be willing and able to travel to other states as part of this role. Travel details will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Ability to perform sustained physical labor throughout the day
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
