Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Janitorial Associates on 2nd Shift!

Position Summary: Join a growing commercial cleaning team in Cedar Rapids and help maintain clean, safe, and professional environments for local businesses. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and enjoy working independently or as part of a team. You’ll be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure facilities remain presentable and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine commercial cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout assigned facilities
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to maintain a professional appearance
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Report maintenance concerns or supply shortages to supervisors
• Ensure all assigned areas meet quality and cleanliness standards

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Dependable transportation and consistent attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Hours:

• 2^nd Shift
• Full-time and Part-time

Pay:

• $16.00/hr
