Composite Detail / Assembly Technician

Pay Rate: $18.00 per Hour

Position Summary

The Composite Detail / Assembly Technician is responsible for sanding, detailing, inspecting, and assembling composite components to meet quality and production standards. This role supports the manufacturing process by preparing parts for paint and final assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Sand, trim, and detail composite parts for finishing and paint preparation.
• Assemble components according to work instructions and specifications.
• Inspect parts for quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and process documentation.
• Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with composite, fiberglass, or similar manufacturing processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
