Job Title: CNC Lead

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00/hour + 15% shift differential (2nd shift) + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus + $500 Referral Bonus Opportunities
Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Summary:
The CNC Lead plays a key role in guiding daily machining operations, supporting production teams, and ensuring parts are manufactured efficiently and to specification. This position focuses on maintaining quality, coordinating work across machines and operators, and promoting safe, productive shop practices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day direction to CNC operators while reinforcing safe work practices and compliance with safety standards
- Organize job flow by assigning machines, setting priorities, and keeping production on track
- Verify machine setups, tooling, and adjustments to ensure parts meet required tolerances
- Monitor part inspections and uphold quality standards to reduce errors and rework
- Support equipment upkeep, perform basic maintenance, and collaborate with maintenance on repairs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNC or machining coursework is a plus
- At least 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience, including prior leadership or lead responsibilities
- Solid understanding of machine setup, tooling, and G-code fundamentals
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications accurately
- Strong communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and guide team members
