Sawmill position in the Roseburg area on day shift!

Full-time/Long-term

Wage: $18.00 Hourly

Shift: Day - 5:00 am - 4:00 pm/Monday-Thursday (occasional Fridays)

Sawmill associate will be responsible for operating several different machines in sawmill to mill wood into a variety of different sizes. Physical labor/machinery include; edge picker, stacker operator, stick tender, trash gate, lug loader, bad end puller, paper wrap, ability to stand for duration of shift with frequently lifting/bending/twisting movements. May also be responsible for operating and monitoring automated planing equipment to produce dressed lumber of precise dimensions from rough lumber, and sorting and stacking finished lumber.  Responsible for straightening boards as they come down the chain to avoid jams. Prior millwork experience is preferred, and recent labor experience is required.
