We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Route Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our team. Our client is a non-profit food bank. This role involves driving an automatic, non-CDL refrigerated box truck along scheduled routes to collect food donations from local grocery stores and transport them to our facility. In addition to driving responsibilities, this position includes hands-on warehouse work such as unloading, organizing, and preparing food products for distribution.

This is a physically demanding role ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and are committed to supporting community food distribution efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automatic refrigerated box truck (non-CDL) on assigned pickup routes
• Collect food donations from grocery stores and partner locations
• Load and unload products using pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment
• Weigh incoming donations and complete required documentation accurately
• Sort, stack, and organize food products within the warehouse
• Prepare products for distribution and maintain inventory organization
• Adhere to scheduled routes and ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Interact professionally with store personnel and partners
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and warehouse areas
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Driver’s License (Class D – standard, non-CDL)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to perform heavy, labor-intensive work (lifting, pushing, pulling)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict schedules
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies (preferred)

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding role requiring frequent lifting, bending, and standing
• Work is performed both indoors (warehouse) and outdoors
• Exposure to varying weather conditions during routes
• Requires adherence to strict schedules and daily route completion

Safety Requirements

• Must wear closed-toe, steel-toe shoes/boots at all times
• Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and company policies
