Job Title: Material Handler

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $17.51/hour
Schedule/Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Summary:
Responsible for receiving, inspecting, and distributing materials to support production operations while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities:

Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips
Inspect, count, weigh, and properly label materials to ensure accuracy
Store and distribute materials to appropriate inventory or production locations
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and system updates
Operate forklift and prepare pick tickets/kits as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred with 1–3 years of material handling experience
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel); ERP/MRP experience a plus
Strong math skills and ability to read measuring tools (scales, rulers)
Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently with good communication skills
