Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Inventory & Production Coordinator to support a growing manufacturing operation in Everett. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for candidates who are highly detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in inventory, purchasing, and/or production coordination.

This role is approximately 60% office-based and 40% on the production floor, working closely with Operations, Quality, and Production teams.

Position Overview

The Inventory & Production Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, production records, and purchasing activities. This position ensures that all transactions are properly recorded in QuickBooks and supports operational efficiency through accurate data management and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, packaging components, and supplies
• Process inventory receipts, production transactions, and inventory movements in QuickBooks
• Execute filling, packing, and assembly transactions to reflect production activity
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and physical inventories
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and transaction errors
• Partner with Quality and Operations to support lot traceability and product release
• Generate reports and maintain documentation for inventory, purchasing, and production
• Support process improvements related to inventory control and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or manufacturing support roles
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar inventory/accounting systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to analyze and reconcile data
• Understanding of inventory transactions, purchasing processes, and production workflows
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in manufacturing environments (consumer products, food & beverage, or regulated industries preferred)
• Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Combination of office and production floor work (60/40 split)
