General Assembly Technician

Located in San Diego, CA

Salary: 18.00

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in San Diego. This position is responsible for assembling components, following established procedures, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic assembly and manufacturing tasks following written and verbal instructions

• Assemble components while maintaining quality and accuracy standards

• Utilize hand tools and light power tools safely and effectively

• Follow technical documents, procedures, and work instructions

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to read and follow written procedures and technical documentation

• Comfortable using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers

• Experience with light-duty power tools, including electric drills, preferred

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is a plus

• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate PDF documents

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Skills:

• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Ability to follow written work instructions and manuals

• Comfortable performing repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy

• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist in other areas as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools throughout the shift

• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing assembly work
