We are hiring a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR to oversee and manage employees while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. The Production Supervisor is expected to learn and gain understanding of the skill, equipment, parts, and time required for manufactured products, in addition to warehouse best practices. The Production Supervisor will have knowledge and skill required for each process, will oversee assembly processes, safety procedures, facility maintenance, inventory management, and warehouse functions, as well as other responsibilities related to managing both production and warehouse goods.

They lead team members on the production and warehouse floors, ensuring all performance, safety, and reliability standards are met. They monitor and direct the workflow on the production floor, ensuring that machinery operates smoothly and production targets are met. They plan and assign work, coordinate resources, and adjust schedules to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines. They will join our dynamic team and lead various aspects of production and warehouse operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Train, manage and support production and warehouse employees
• Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of production and warehouse employees

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Oversee production operations
• Prepare work schedules to ensure efficient operations
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment
• Ensure that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly
• Troubleshoot issues that arise
• Notify management of equipment problems
• Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed and distributed
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Thorough understanding of and/or the ability to quickly learn production operations and equipment
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to complete reports and logs
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior supervisory production work experience preferred but other industry supervisory experience considered.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to traverse the production and warehouse facilities
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

This is a temp to perm position with full-time opportunity for the right candidate with full benefits

Schedule: 7am to 4pm

Pay: $24 to $28/hr. (depending on experience)
