Job Title: Material Handler
City and State: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $17.51/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Employment Type: Direct Hire
 
Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for unloading, verifying, receiving, and distributing materials to support production operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy and maintains proper documentation of all material movements.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy in count and part numbers
  • Label, store, and distribute materials to appropriate departments or inventory locations
  • Enter receipts and inventory data into the system and maintain accurate records
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory adjustments as directed
  • Operate a forklift and prepare pick tickets or kits as needed
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1–3 years of material handling experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and strong math abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently
