A Vancouver company is looking to fill a General Warehouse Production position in the Bakery Department. This position is responsible for the production of corn flour and cornmeal to meet customer requirements and specifications, carry out and document the food safety program, clean the bakery areas of responsibility according to the Master Sanitation Schedule. 

 

**Will train and certify on Forklift

 

Details: Full time/ Temp to hire opportunity - $20/hr

 

Schedule:  Monday-Friday day shift (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)


Job Duties / Requirements:

 

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently

• Hook up railcar for production following food protocol

• Fill and stack 50 lbs bags, 1850 lbs totes or various weight super stacks according to direction of bakery lead

• Use forklift to move finished product or raw materials to needed areas of the bakery warehouse or to stage finished product for shipment

• Use shrink wrapping machine to wrap finished pallets of 50 lbs bags

• Document equipment inspections in food safety logs at required intervals

• Inspect wrapped product every 30 days for pest issues

• Clean all bakery areas of responsibility following protocol

• Must not be afraid of heights

• Conduct good manufacturing practices (GMP) audits when tasked by quality supervisor
