Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm 

Pay: $60,000 - $70,000, based on experience

Duties: 

  • Prepare detailed takeoffs, bid proposals, and pricing spreadsheets using estimating software and tools
  • Develop preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates, and detailed project estimates for jobs of varying size and complexity
  • Create visual aids and documentation to clearly communicate project scope and pricing
  • Obtain and analyze pricing from material vendors and suppliers
  • Review construction documents, including addenda and amendments, and update estimates accordingly
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or inaccuracies in project information
  • Organize, track, and communicate scope or pricing changes to all project stakeholders
  • Evaluate and qualify potential projects to determine whether to pursue bid opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Participate in design meetings, project discussions, and client presentations
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide prompt, clear, and professional communication throughout the estimating process

Qualifications: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Experience with estimating software and construction takeoff tools preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings
  • Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Experience in construction estimating or a related field preferred
