2nd Shift Warehouse Janitor / Custodian

Location: McAllen, TX

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time

 

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Janitor / Custodian for a local manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout production and machine shop areas by removing dust, debris, oil residue, and other waste materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and clean production floors, walkways, and work areas.
• Remove oil residue, dust, metal shavings, and other debris from manufacturing areas.
• Degrease machinery and equipment in machine shop departments.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste materials properly.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the facility.
• Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report safety hazards, spills, or maintenance concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial, custodial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift items throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
