Salary: $21-23/hr

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Material Handler for a well-established steel distribution company in the Madison area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Pay: $21-23/hr BOE

Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday 

Responsibilities:

• Pull and stage steel orders for customer deliveries
• Load flatbed trucks according to delivery schedules and routes
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
• Stock, organize, and maintain steel inventory
• Perform quality checks to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Assist walk-in customers with material pickup and questions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, material handling, or forklift experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move 50+ lbs on a regular basis
• Comfortable working with steel and other heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
