Lead Operator

Salary: $25+

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Water/Wastewater Lead Operator to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient treatment and distribution of water and wastewater systems. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting plant operations, and assisting with the supervision of operational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate water and wastewater treatment systems
• Lead daily plant operations and support operational staff
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and process adjustments
• Maintain accurate operational logs and records
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as needed
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment reliability
• Promote and enforce safety procedures and best practices

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in water and/or wastewater treatment operations
• Strong knowledge of treatment processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements
• Leadership experience and the ability to direct daily operations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency with operational reporting and recordkeeping
