Summary:
The Logistics Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring all outgoing and incoming parts are accurately processed, properly packaged, and delivered on time. This position supports shipping/receiving, inventory control, and vendor coordination while utilizing an ERP system to maintain accurate records and streamline logistics operations.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Process all outbound shipments through the ERP system, including generating shipping documents, bills of lading, and packing slips; verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
  • Package finished goods to required specifications and ensure all labeling, documentation, and part counts are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Coordinate outside processing orders, create vendor purchase orders, and communicate with vendors on timelines and shipment status.
  • Schedule and track deliveries, inspect parts for visible defects, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in labeling, documentation, and data entry.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including ability to learn ERP systems.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
