Grinders Needed- We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manual/Standard Grinder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual grinding equipment to shape, finish, and refine metal components to precise specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, good hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Operate a manual grinder for wet and surface grinding small parts such as tools, dies and punches. Height gauges, holding tolerances +/- 2/10. Geometric tolerances, inspection and measuring. Must have your own tools.
SHIFT/PAY:
- Mon-Fri. 6am to 2:30pm
- $23.00/hr. to $28.00/hr. based on experience
REQUIREMENTS: In this role you will rotate duties weekly.
- Previous experience in grinding, machining, or a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of A2 and M2 steels
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments (micrometers/calibers/jo blocks)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical aptitude
