Express Employment of Downey is currently seeking a TRAFFIC CONTROL FLAGGER for a distributor in the city of Vernon, CA.

*BE ADVISED YOU WILL BE WORKING OUTSIDE*

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 2PM to 8PM (approximately 30 hours a week)

Hourly Pay: $23.63 an hour

Employment Type: part-time, ongoing/long-term

​Qualifications:

• 1 year traffic control experience REQUIRED (e.g. construction/road worker, valet, parking lot attendant, crossing guard)
• Must be comfortable working outdoors
• Good verbal communication
• Able to follow instructions

Responsibilities:

• Direct traffic to reduce entry & exit delays and vehicular congestion onsite
• Monitor parking lots to identify and create open spaces
• Direct motorists to parking areas using hand signals or flashlights
• Make scheduled rounds and work in assigned zones
• Coordinate traffic flow during peak DP arrival and departure times
