Our Pickering client, a company that specializes in high-quality architectural cladding solutions, including curtain walls, window walls, and custom designs, is looking for a General Labourer to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload sheet metal parts into machinery for processing
• Assist with handling and lifting sheet metal materials safely
• Support machine operators with preparation and positioning of parts
• Perform deburring of metal parts to remove sharp edges and ensure quality finishes
• Label products and materials accurately for identification and tracking
• Perform general labour tasks including moving materials and staging work areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with basic quality checks on parts before and after processing
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of General Labour experience
• Able to lift and handle heavy materials (sheet metal) safely
• Basic reading and comprehension skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Safety boots required
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team setting

Bonus Qualifications:

• Comfortable operating hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing manual labour

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Pay Rate: $19 per hour
