Position Overview

We are seeking motivated plumbing professionals (or aspiring apprentices) to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential and new construction settings. The ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain:
  • Pipes, valves, and fittings
  • Drainage systems and plumbing fixtures
• Work on residential and new construction projects
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other trades
• Read and follow building plans and blueprints
• Respond to and resolve plumbing emergencies
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with:
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Water heaters
  • Pressure tanks
  • Pumps and sewage ejector pumps
• Maintain accurate records of:
  • Time worked
  • Services performed
  • Materials used

Qualifications

Journeyman Plumber

• 1–3+ years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber
• Valid Montana State Plumbing License (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Proficiency with hand and power tools

Apprentice Plumber

• Willingness to learn the plumbing trade
• Basic construction or mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with:
  • PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper piping
• Understanding of:
  • Building codes
  • Safety regulations and practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Requirements 

• Valid driver’s license
• Must have tools (full list provided during interview process)

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $25 – $30/hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Full-time, day shift
