Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM | Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM

Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a growing manufacturing and distribution operation in Virginia Beach. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and maintaining an organized work environment.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy staying active, working independently, and ensuring accuracy in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Receive and store incoming inventory
Pick and pack customer orders
Prepare outbound shipments
Maintain inventory accuracy and stock records
Assist with shipping and receiving activities
Keep warehouse areas clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
Support warehouse and production teams as needed

Qualifications

Warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
Experience with order pulling and picking/packing is a plus
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail and inventory accuracy
Dependable attendance and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Steel-toe boots required

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying
Ability to move inventory and materials throughout the shift
Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment
