Material Handler/Forklift Driver Job Summary:

A dynamic nation-wide leader and service distributor and fabricator specializing in the fulfillment of conveyor system requirements for the processing, manufacturing, and material handling industry is looking for an experiencing material handle. The  product line ranges from all types of conveyor belting, conveying equipment and components, belting accessories, hose and fittings, plastics, gasket, and power transmission products.

Material Handler/Forklift Driver  responsibilities:   

• Read work orders, packing slips, and sales orders to determine materials required.
• Safe and efficient storage, movement, and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Move materials from receiving area to production or storage areas.
• Transfer finished goods to shipping and move work-in-progress between departments.
• Weigh and count items to ensure conformance with standards.
• Unload trucks, check in merchandise, and match purchase orders to packing slips.
• Prepare and process parcels for shipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and notify supervisors of discrepancies.
• Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies as needed.
• Build, repair, conveyor belts and components.
• Perform belt vulcanizing and other fabrication tasks.
• Assist with equipment setup and assembly in-house or at customer locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area at all times.

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as required, company works 7 days a week at times
• $19.00-$23.00/HR 

Material Handler/Forklift Driver Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or Shipping & Receiving preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; experience with fabrication or installation work a plus.

• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong math and computer skills
