Janitor (Shift 1 – Early Morning)

Location: Summerville, SC
Pay: $17.50/hour

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Position Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility by completing daily cleaning tasks and supporting overall building upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all restrooms
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean and maintain break rooms and cafeteria areas
• Restock paper towels, snacks, and other supplies
• Take out trash and replace liners
• Clean doors, surfaces, and common areas
• Assist with organizing uniforms and managing laundry
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience required
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and schedules
• Steel toe shoes required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout shift
• Lift and carry cleaning supplies and materials
• Perform repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting
