Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Amazon 1P Order Management & Vendor Operations Manager to oversee wholesale order execution, retail compliance, routing, EDI transactions, ASN management, invoicing, and inventory allocation across Amazon and other major retail accounts.

This is an office-based operations role focused on managing the complete order lifecycle from order receipt through invoicing and retailer compliance. This is not a warehouse management position. Candidates with primarily warehouse, transportation, forklift, or 3PL operations backgrounds without direct Amazon 1P order management experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Amazon 1P Order Management

• Download and review Amazon wholesale orders through Vendor Central.
• Evaluate inventory availability and determine order acceptance or rejection.
• Monitor acceptance rates, shortages, and fill rates.
• Create and maintain PO shipping labels according to Amazon routing and compliance requirements.
• Manage Vendor Central activities and troubleshoot order issues.

Routing & Retail Compliance

• Route orders through Amazon Vendor Central and other retailer portals.
• Coordinate pickups and shipments according to retailer routing guides.
• Ensure compliance with Amazon, Walmart, DSG, and other retail customer requirements.
• Manage retailer chargebacks and compliance-related issues.

EDI, ASN & Invoicing

• Submit and manage Advanced Ship Notices (ASN).
• Process EDI transactions and monitor order status updates.
• Maintain shipment documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL).
• Ensure accurate 3-way matching (PO – ASN – Invoice).
• Process timely and accurate invoicing within ERP systems.
• Monitor deductions, shortages, and retailer chargebacks.

Inventory & Order Execution

• Manage inventory allocation decisions when demand exceeds available inventory.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure order fulfillment accuracy.
• Monitor order flow across multiple sales channels.
• Prepare inventory and fulfillment reporting for management.

Cross-Functional Operations Support

• Support wholesale, drop-ship, and direct fulfillment programs.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, sales, and supply chain teams.
• Assist with inventory audits and operational reporting.
• Train team members on Vendor Central, EDI platforms, and order management systems.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct Amazon 1P / Vendor Central experience.
• Experience processing Amazon wholesale orders from receipt through invoicing.
• Hands-on experience with EDI transactions and ASN submissions.
• Experience with retailer routing guides and compliance programs.
• Experience managing multi-channel order flow (Amazon, Walmart, wholesale, B2B, DTC).
• Strong understanding of inventory allocation and fulfillment workflows.
• Experience with ERP, OMS, and WMS platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, reporting, analysis).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks ERP.
• Experience with Extensiv (Skubana), SAP, NetSuite, or similar systems.
• Experience managing Amazon chargebacks and compliance deductions.
• Consumer products, wholesale distribution, retail supply chain, or brand-side operations experience.
• Experience supporting Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, DSG, Target, or other major retail accounts.
