Forklift Warehouse Associate (2nd Shift)

Location: Shreveport, LA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $17.00/hour + Shift Differential

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Warehouse Associate to join our team in Shreveport. This position is responsible for operating forklifts, moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
• Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment
• Inspect products and materials for damage or discrepancies
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred
• Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
