Our client in Willoughby, OH is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join their 1st shift manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines according to production schedules.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and report equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
