Schedule: Monday thru Thursday, 7am- 5pm and Friday 7am- 12pm

Pay: Based on demolition experience

 

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with an established demolition company in Spartanburg County to recruit hardworking Demolition Laborers. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, working outdoors and indoors, and being part of a team that safely completes commercial demolition projects.

Job Summary

The Demolition Laborer will assist with the demolition of commercial buildings and structures, removal of debris, site cleanup, and preparation of work areas. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior demolition of commercial facilities.
• Remove walls, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, equipment, and other building materials.
• Sort, load, and dispose of demolition debris into dumpsters and designated containers.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with site preparation, containment setup, and material protection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
• Perform additional labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, demolition, landscaping, roofing, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
• Must be able to follow directions and work well with a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and carrying materials.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout an entire shift.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
