Temporary Housing Assistant

Located in Bremerton, WA

Salary: $23.67

Overview: A local housing company serving low-income residents is seeking a Temporary Housing Assistant to assist Property Managers in administering housing program processes and providing customer service for tenants. This will be for at least 2 weeks.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Greet and assist lobby visitors.
• Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties.
• Assist customers with RENTCafé. 
• Review submitted forms for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all relevant required fields and supporting documentation are included.
• Record customer interactions, details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
• Run reports and confirm data is correct. Transfer data from database reports into spreadsheets and verify information. File and retrieve documents, records, and reports. 
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including voicemails, faxes, and email. 
• Prepare and/or send mail/email responses to routine inquiries. 
• Provide clerical assistance to Housing staff as needed. 
• Keep lobby area clean and presentable for visitors. 
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in Customer Service with face-to-face contact
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using Yardi/Rent Cafe

Pay:
$23.67/hour

 

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
