We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials, components, and services are procured efficiently to meet production and program timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and project needs
• Negotiate vendor pricing, terms, and delivery schedules based on budget and timelines
• Issue and manage purchase orders in alignment with inventory and business requirements
• Expedite delayed orders and maintain consistent communication with vendors
• Coordinate product deliveries using knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes
• Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and filing systems
• Communicate regularly with Purchasing and Manufacturing leadership about vendor performance
• Support corporate quality standards and continuous production flow

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes within a purchasing environment
• Knowledge of vendor sourcing, material planning, and procurement strategies
• Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
