A reputable company in Aurora, IL is seeking a 3rd Shift Forklift Operator to join their growing team. This is an evaluation‑to‑hire opportunity offering full benefits once hired on permanently. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety‑focused, and experienced in operating Stand‑Up Reach forklifts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

 

Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating multiple types of forklift equipment, with a primary focus on Stand‑Up Reach trucks. This role involves order picking, inventory movement, and general warehouse support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Stand‑Up Reach forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed

• Pick and pull customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and racks

• Transport products throughout the warehouse and production areas

• Perform put‑away and replenishment tasks using RF scanners or inventory systems

• Stage materials for shipping and assist with packaging when required

• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company safety policies, forklift guidelines, and OSHA standards

• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and general warehouse tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience

• Experience operating Stand‑Up Reach forklifts is strongly preferred

• Ability to pass a forklift skills test during the interview process

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
