Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to transport goods to customers and distribution centers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck (typically 16–26 feet) to deliver and pick up goods
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
• Plan delivery routes and adhere to delivery schedules
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and receipts
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle size and regulations)
• Clean driving record
• Previous experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (typically up to 50–100 lbs)
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service skills

Working Conditions

• Local and/or regional routes (may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends)
• Frequent loading/unloading and physical activity
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
• Independent work with occasional team coordination

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GPS and route optimization tools
• Experience with warehouse operations or logistics
• Basic mechanical knowledge
