Student Middle School Ministry

Located in Lufkin, TX

Salary: $18.00 + DOE

Working with the Student High School Minister, create and implement a vision, goals, and
overall strategy for the Middle School Ministry in alignment with the Mission and Values
statements of Harmony Hill Baptist Church. Primarily, this should include:
A strategy for intentional discipleship of middle school students personally and
organizationally.

A comprehensive strategy for special events and retreats used to engage middle
school students spiritually.
An intentional strategy for middle school students to receive missional training and
opportunities to serve that instill the heart for missions in them.
An intentional approach to meet middle school students' spiritual and physical
developmental needs.
Create leadership development opportunities for students.
Oversee all Elements of middle school worship services, including:
Coordination and support of the Student Ministry Worship Team.
The spiritual direction of services through preaching.
Coordinate with the Tech Department to oversee technical needs such as sound,
video, lights, graphics, etc.
Provide resources to parents and connect with them to help nurture students' spiritual
growth at home.
Recruit and train volunteers who work with students and ensure adequate volunteer
support and adult-to-student ratios.
Be available to give spiritual counsel to students and families.
Assist the High School Minister in planning the annual budget, student ministry calendar,
and communication.
