Mechanical Assembler

Requirements

·        Mechanical aptitude.

·        Experience using hand and power tools such as levels, tape measures, drills and taps, saws, hammers.

·        Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assemblies.

Duties

·        Build, assemble truck bodies and equipment.

·        Mechanical assembly of multiple truck body components.

·        Measure, align, drill, bolt, screw and rivet components.

·        Use hand and power tools properly and safely.

·        Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assemblies.

·        Build, assemble mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

·        Hydraulic hose assembly.

·        QA sign-off of properly completed tasks.

·        Track job time and complete daily timecards.

·        Service projects and repairs as requested by shop foreman.

·        Other duties as requested by shop foreman.
