We are partnered with a family owned utility company in Sarasota, Florida hiring for a Part Time Quickbooks/Administrative Assistant. They are seeking someone who is a dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations. This role offers flexible scheduling and long‑term stability for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative, customer service, and light office support tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Billing — Enter data and process billing in QuickBooks
  • Administrative Support — Assist with basic accounting and general office tasks
  • Customer Follow-Up — Contact customers regarding payments and account status
  • Phone Support — Answer calls and provide customer service
  • Mail & Notices — Prepare and mail notices and correspondence
  • Office Coverage — Provide backup coverage for staff when needed
  • Office Organization — Maintain general office organization and light tidying
  • Local Errands — Drop off mail and complete occasional errands

Qualifications:

  • QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Strong data entry and computer skills
  • Prior administrative or office support experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliable transportation

Schedule Options:

  • 4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week
  • Three 8‑hour days per week
  • Other flexible arrangements available

Pay Range: $20-$22/hour
