Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Located in Sarasota, FL

Salary: $20-$22/hour

We are partnered with a manufacturing company in Sarasota, Florida hiring for several Material Handlers. The Material Handler is responsible for pulling, scanning, and delivering parts from different departments to assembly and welding lines. This role ensures accurate inventory movement, supports production needs, and requires regular lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts according to pick lists and verify correct quantities
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Use handheld scan gun to transfer inventory from pull location to point‑of‑use
• Deliver parts to designated production areas
• Alert purchasing of missing or low stock
• Operate pallet jack; assist with warehouse organization and cleanup
• Work collaboratively to support safety and production goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Experience using power tools and pallet jacks
• Hands‑on computer experience; ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Forklift experience or willingness to obtain a forklift license
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Schedule: Full time

Pay Range: $20-$22/hour
