Industrial Maintenance Technician 

 

Pay: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Tech professional to support manufacturing operations through machine setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting experience with manufacturing machinery, as this is the most critical requirement for success in this role.

 

This position plays a key role in maximizing equipment uptime, improving production efficiency, and supporting operators and production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and changeovers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process-related equipment issues.
• Perform first-level maintenance, repairs, and component replacements.
• Execute preventive and weekly maintenance inspections and document all completed work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment history records, and spare parts inventory.
• Support production operators and cell leads with machine performance issues and process improvements.
• Monitor and assist in reducing equipment downtime, failures, and production deviations.
• Calibrate equipment and optimize machine settings to improve efficiency and quality.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards while performing maintenance and support activities.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong experience troubleshooting electrical systems on manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and performing machine calibration.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and downtime tracking.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred

• Experience with industrial equipment.
• Previous experience in machine operation, maintenance, or technical support within a manufacturing environment.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Experience Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience as a Cell Operator or Production Operator.
• 4+ years of experience in Technical Support, Maintenance, or Industrial Equipment Support.
